eye to eye

I am reading Marie Sến by Phạm Thị Hoài. The story of Hà Nội, Việt Nam during the 90s.

How sad that the crazy society people living in these days still exist until now. How ironic that things seem to be even worse nowaday in the 2010! This country has been influenced by many different cultures like China, Russia, France, America... Then where is our true indentity? What are the characteristics of this nation?

Well, we don't know, don't know. Tân always told me that "you have to look at thing globally in a humanity aspects, because after all you belong to you, you belong to know nation, because it's an artist you are."

first step is always the hardest

It was crazy but I cannot find myself writing anything today. I haven't blogging for almost more than 1 year and it feels like...I am missing something.
I need a place to put all my continuously thoughts and ideas, otherwise one day if I ever vanish maybe someone still have a piece of me.
I am a 22-year-old-girl living in a developing-country city where wild things happen everyday. One year might be just a short time for some others but here within one year many things change and happen. The circle of life is long and short at the same time. Nobody knows what will happen today or tomorrow. Living by instinct is what we depend on. But for someone who is so influenced by Western thinking and studies how can we balance that? The issues of mind and heart?
I don't smoke but I always think the image of a girl smoking is extremely melancholic and beautiful. Plus flowers and roses are my savours, I always dream of lying in a sea of roses... you know a daydreamer as I am.
